Al-Hilal are pursuing a deal for Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli, with significant progress reported but no trip to Riyadh today.

Foot Mercato reports the Saudi club have reached an agreement with Arsenal over Martinelli’s transfer.

Fabrizio Romano says talks are advanced and there is hope to complete the move soon, and that Martinelli will not travel to Riyadh today.

He adds that club sources have dismissed reports of an immediate flight, negotiations continue with the player’s camp and Al-Hilal remain confident.

Foot Mercato also noted that Martinelli would join an attack already featuring Crysencio Summerville, who arrived from West Ham, with Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins a possible addition.
