Galatasaray have renewed their push to sign Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli, according to Turkish-Football.com.
Talks between the clubs had reached an advanced stage after an official bid from the Istanbul side, but stalled when Martinelli indicated he preferred to stay in North London and fight for his place.
Galatasaray are aware Al Hilal have made an offer and are in advanced discussions. They believe the lure of Champions League football and remaining in a competitive league could persuade the winger.
With Martinelli in the final year of his contract, Arsenal are keen to capitalise on his value rather than risk losing him for free next summer. He was omitted from the matchday squad for the first two competitive fixtures of the season.
Galatasaray are currently the only major European club with a concrete, lucrative proposal, so a decision is pressing for both player and club. Arsenal want his future settled before the deadline to create wage space for late recruitment.
The Lions view Martinelli as a marquee addition for a squad built for a deep UEFA Champions League run and are ready to conclude talks once he gives approval. The Brazilian joined Arsenal from Ituano in 2019 and was key to recent title challenges. With his situation at the Emirates at an impasse, a move to Türkiye appears increasingly likely.
