Al Ittihad ‘interested in’ Richard Ríos as Benfica set 40 million euros asking price | OneFootball

Richard Ríos could leave Benfica in the closing days of the window, with the club open to a transfer. El Tiempo reports that Al Ittihad are looking to secure the Colombia midfielder’s signing.

Al-Diriyah, coached by Bruno Lage, are also monitoring the player.

Benfica have set a 40 million euros asking price for Ríos, a sum that would represent a significant profit after he joined from Palmeiras in 2025 for 27 million euros.

Competition in Marco Silva’s midfield has intensified. João Palhinha adds experience, physicality and balance, while Enzo Barrenechea and Leandro Barreiro have been used regularly. With those options available, a sale of Ríos could be viewed as an opportunity.
