Benfica midfielder Richard Ríos is being sounded out by Saudi side Al-Diriyah, the club coached by Bruno Lage.

According to BenficaNow, Al-Diriyah could lodge an enquiry with Benfica for the 26-year-old Colombia international. The same report adds there has been interest from other teams, but no formal offers for Rui Costa to assess.

It has been reported that Benfica have made Ríos available for transfer and his representatives have already held meetings in Europe to discuss his next step.

The report did not confirm Benfica’s asking price, but suggested the club might seek around €50-60 million when negotiating with Saudi teams.

Last season for Benfica, Ríos, valued at €25 million, made 45 appearances, 27 in the league, 12 in the Champions League, three in the Taça de Portugal, two in the Taça da Liga and one in the Supertaça. Across 3,638 minutes he scored eight goals and supplied six assists. In 2026/27, he has featured in six matches.
