Al-Nassr: Cristiano Ronaldo back in training, but...

Cristiano Ronaldo was indeed present at Al-Nassr’s training session this Wednesday, a return he shared with his fans on social media. Yet, despite being back on the pitch, uncertainty still surrounds his participation in the upcoming match against Al-Ittihad.

According to the Portuguese press, the 41-year-old striker is dissatisfied with the club’s recruitment policy. He believes that Al-Nassr has not received the same backing from the PIF, the main stakeholder in the league, as other Saudi clubs. This situation continues to fuel his frustration.

Cristiano Ronaldo also reportedly wants to have more of a voice within the club, particularly by involving José Semedo and Simão Coutinho in key club decisions. Having already been left out of the previous match against Al-Riyadh, the Portuguese star continues to cast doubt over his future.

With just months to go before the 2026 World Cup, speculation is mounting. A departure at the end of the season can no longer be ruled out, with reported interest from MLS and several European clubs. At Al-Nassr, the Ronaldo saga is far from over.
