Five different names were on the scoresheet as Al-Nassr cruised past Ohod Club in the King’s Cup on Monday.
Scorer: Mané 16′ (P), Fofana 62′, Talisca 73′, Ahmed 81′, Al-Najei 86′; Michalak 45+4′
There was no Cristiano Ronaldo as Al-Nassr let the goals fly at Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium.
In the absence of the Portugal international, Sadio Mané kicked off the party after slotting home an early penalty into the bottom-left corner.
The hosts did suggest maybe they would be up for the challenge when Konrad Michalak made things level before half-time, but Al-Nassr’s momentum carried over into the second half.
Seko Fofana’s long-range strike turned things 2-1 before Alex Telles teed up Anderson Talica, and his dividing header added a third.
Unfortunately for the hosts, the visitors piled on the misery in the dying moments.
Ayman Ahmed was in the right place at the right time to capitalise on a spilled shot before Sami Al-Najei put a fifth beyond Ohod.
It means Al-Nassr moved on to the Round of 16.
