Al Qadsiah ‘to demand’ €10m for Puertas as Bremen face competition

Werder Bremen's hopes of keeping Cameron Puertas for the new Bundesliga season have reportedly suffered a setback.

Bild claims Al Qadsiah are demanding €10 million for the midfielder, a figure that could be beyond Bremen after they let his purchase option lapse.

Puertas wants a permanent switch to Bremen, but is open to other destinations if an agreement cannot be found.

Several Premier League and Bundesliga sides have recently enquired about him, and his contract expires next summer.

Given the price and mounting interest, it is possible Bremen lose out in the race for his signature.
