Al-Shabab and other Saudi Arabian clubs are interested in signing West Ham United striker Callum Wilson, according to the Telegraph.

The West Ham star is expected to leave before the end of the winter transfer window after manager Nuno Espirito Santo brought in striking duo Pablo and Taty Castellanos.

The billionaire-owned clubs from the Middle East are keeping tabs on him and are expected to swoop. Celtic have also been linked with the 33-year-old.

However, Al-Shabab and other clubs from the United Arab Emirates will be offering him more than the Scottish Premiership club.

The West Ham striker could fly out to the Middle East next week to secure his next move and is expected to be allowed to travel after the weekend.

The Hammers have bolstered their attack and are expected to let the former Newcastle United star leave.

It is unclear whether Wilson will play against Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow.

He has bagged four goals and one assist in 18 appearances for the Hammers since joining them last summer as a free agent.

Wilson signed a one-year deal, but the contract is incentive-based. He could be the third forward to move on after Niclas Fullkrug and Luis Guilherme left earlier this month.

West Ham are desperate to stay up after just three victories in 21 league games this season, and more additions could be on the cards in the coming weeks.

They have been linked with Sunderland midfielder Dan Neil and need signings in the middle of the park as James Ward-Prowse is expected to leave this month.
