Former Premier League manager Alan Pardew doesn’t believe Thomas Tuchel will select Cole Palmer as part of his first choiceEngland attack.
Palmer has been limited to just four appearances for Chelsea this season due to a groin injury which has caused him problems since the Club World Cup.
The injury has forced Palmer to miss the last three England camps, and there’s now just one international break in March before the World Cup next summer.
Palmer has scored twice in 12 caps for England so far, including the equaliser in the Euro 2024 final against Spain, which The Three Lions would subsequently lose.
In fact he hasn’t played for England since a 1-0 win against Andorra in June, and hasn’t really played much of a part in World Cup qualification.

Many feel the team should be built round Chelsea’s star man, but Darren Bent has claimed Palmer has put Tuchel in an impossible position.
At the moment Jude Bellingham and Morgan Rogers appear to be competing for the number ten position, and Pardew doesn’t feel Tuchel will make the Chelsea star part of his first choice attack.
Speaking to talkSPORT Pardew said he expected Tuchel to field a front three of Marcus Rashfrod, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka, with Jude Bellingham playing some sort of role of midfield.
Before the attacker can start thinking about the World Cup he needs to get himself back fit and playing regularly for Chelsea.

It’s believed Palmer is targeting a return against Barcelona in the Champions League next week, but whether that happens remains to be seen.
It’s been reported both player and club are hopeful that will be the case, but it’s claimed Chelsea are taking a long term view with Palmer’ fitness instead of trying to rush him back.
