Albion have reminded home supporters not to buy South Stand tickets for the friendly against Bologna at the Amex. According to TheArgus.co.uk, that area is designated for away fans.
Supporters will hope entry runs more smoothly for the final pre-season fixture of the summer. Last Saturday, some reported long queues at the North, West and East Stands before the 3-0 win over Roma, while others were turned away from the South Stand as it was reserved for visiting fans.
Tickets for Bologna are on sale in the South and North Stands and in a section at the southern end of the West Lower. Seats in the South Stand are clearly marked for away fans only.
A crowd of around 14,000 watched the Roma game, with most in the North Stand. On X, Albion fan Brett Mendoza questioned the length of the North Stand queue at about 2.15pm. Martin Fitzgerald said he was told to swap South Stand tickets for the East at the ticket office, joined three queues and still missed 15 minutes despite arriving 40 minutes before kick-off.
Advance prices for Bologna are £15 for adults, £10 for under-21s and 66-and-over, and £5 for under-18s. Prices rise by £5 on matchday, and travel is not included.
