Alejandro Garnacho joins Aston Villa on loan from Chelsea with option to buy | OneFootball

Aston Villa have completed the loan signing of Alejandro Garnacho from Chelsea, with an option to buy that could become obligatory under certain conditions.

According to Birmingham Live, the clause is set at €50m and would kick in after a specified number of appearances by the 22-year-old winger.

If activated, a four-year contract would await Garnacho at Villa.

The Argentina international, who has eight caps, came through at Manchester United and made his senior debut in 2022 before joining Chelsea in summer 2025, when Villa had already shown interest.

Across 43 games for Chelsea he scored 8 goals and supplied 4 assists, and he never truly settled at Stamford Bridge.

He bolsters Villa’s forward options, while Swiss midfielder Johan Manzambi has already replaced Morgan Rogers numerically after Rogers’ move to Chelsea for a record sum.
