Alex Neil has discussed the rest of Millwall's transfer plans

Millwall have reacted to their play-off semi-final defeat by getting quite active in the transfer market.

The Lions have completed their sixth addition of the summer with the arrival of Kyrell Lisbie from Peterborough United, with their initial interest being exclusively revealed by FLW.

The London outfit have also completed the signings of Mathis Servais, Tairyk Arconte, Elkan Baggott, Mark Sykes and Jenson Metcalfe.

Millwall will be keen to maintain their competitive level from last season, with Alex Neil’s side coming third in the table.

The club missed out on automatic promotion by just one point, and lost to Hull City in the semi-finals of the play-offs, with the Tigers going on to win the final against Middlesbrough.

The Championship side have until 1 September to complete any remaining transfer business before the market shuts for the rest of the calendar year.

Neil has claimed that Millwall are far from done with their transfer business this summer following the arrival of Lisbie as their sixth signing of the window.

While he is unsure just yet when and who the next signings will be, he is adamant that there is still more to come from the London outfit before the 1 September deadline.

“There’ll definitely be more business happening,” said Neil, via NewsAtDen.

“When and who, I’m not quite sure at the moment.

“There are obviously a lot of moving parts, and we’ll see how that develops over the next couple of weeks.”

Millwall will be targeting another promotion push next season, and Neil will be hoping the addition of Lisbie helps in that pursuit.

The 22-year-old contributed 11 goals and seven assists in League One last season for Peterborough, with the team coming 18th in the table.

The winger is taking the step up to the Championship after coming in the National League as recently as 2024/25, having moved from Braintree Town to the Posh in 2025.

Millwall fans are encouraged by the signing of Lisbie, even if many accept that it could be a few months before he’s fully settled and part of the first team.

Supporters are glad to see reinforcements in attack, even if there were some mistakes made in the market to get to this point.

Millwall have been told that they must continue their transfer business this summer, and that more work is needed before the deadline.

It’s been claimed that the Lions need a goalkeeper, forward and a right-back before the market shuts.

Millwall will begin their Championship campaign on 15 August with a trip to face Bristol City.
