Bournemouth are understood to be keeping Alex Scott off the market despite suggestions Chelsea could revisit their interest.

According to The Independent, the Blues are eyeing the midfielder as a possible replacement for Enzo Fernandes, who looks set to join Manchester City.

Bournemouth’s stance has not shifted after rejecting a Chelsea bid earlier this summer, and the club told six enquiring sides that Scott was not for sale.

It has been suggested Chelsea believe an offer of more than £80 million, potentially nearer £90 million, could prompt a rethink, yet the club’s position is that no offer would be accepted.

That approach extends to much of the squad, with fellow prospects Junior Kroupi and Rayan also attracting attention this summer.

The Cherries are understood to be satisfied with their business, and after Will Dennis left for MK Dons today, a move away for Max Aarons is likely to be the final piece of this window.
