Swedish striker Alexander Isak netted his first Premier League goal for Liverpool during his team's 2-0 victory over West Ham United on Matchday 13 of the 2025-2026 season, played at London Stadium.

The 26-year-old broke the deadlock in the 60th minute, finishing off an assist from his Dutch teammate Cody Gakpo.

Gakpo then sealed the win with Liverpool's second goal deep into stoppage time (90+2').

This was Isak's first Premier League goal of the season after five goalless appearances, and his second for Liverpool across all competitions, following his earlier strike against Southampton in the English League Cup.

Thanks to this victory, Liverpool regained confidence after a series of disappointing results, including a Champions League defeat to Eindhoven.

Dutch manager Arne Slot's side now has 21 points and sits 8th in the table, while West Ham remains 17th with 11 points.
