Germany will be without Alexandra Popp for Tuesday’s Olympic semi-final clash with the United States.

Popp has led her country to the last four at this summer’s games, including a penalty shootout victory over Canada.

But the Wolfsburg striker is set to miss the showdown with Emma Hayes’ side in Lyon after suffering an infection.
