Alexis Sanchez has joined CF Montréal on a free transfer, signing until the end of the 2027 season in MLS. The club said in a statement on Tuesday that the 37-year-old Chile forward had completed the move.

The Canadian side are second from bottom in the Eastern Conference. Sanchez had been without a club since his Sevilla contract ended after a full campaign of 30 matches and 4 goals.

The former Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester United, Inter and Marseille player adds vast experience to Montréal’s attack.

Sanchez said he was delighted to take on this new challenge and thanked the club for their trust. He added that he wants to use his experience to help the team achieve its objectives and share big moments with supporters.
