Belaïli unveils an ambitious project in Algeria

Algeria: Youcef Belaïli makes a major announcement
Algerian international Youcef Belaïli is already preparing for life beyond the pitch. The Espérance Sportive de Tunis winger has revealed his ambition to soon launch a football academy in Algeria, inspired by the Juventus FC model. His stated goal is to help better structure local youth development and provide young talents with a more professional environment.
Appearing on Samira TV, the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations champion outlined the details of his project. "Inch’Allah, I will start by opening this project (Juventus academy) in Oran, then later in Algiers. As you know, there is a lack of academies in Algeria, even though we have an abundance of talented youngsters."
More than just a training center, Belaïli aims to create a structure that can support young players, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. "My goal is to offer young people—especially those who lack resources—a place where they can stay, play, and train," he explained, convinced that this initiative could become a real springboard to the highest level.
