Alidu Seidu misses Rennes training to collect UK visa before Wales friendly

Alidu Seidu missed Rennes training on Friday morning, 48 hours before the trip to Marseille for the Ligue 1 final day on Sunday at 21:00.

According to L'Équipe, the Ghanaian federation asked the right-back to travel to Paris to collect a United Kingdom visa for a friendly against Wales in Cardiff on two June.

An individual session is planned for the afternoon.

The Cardiff game forms part of Ghana’s preparations for the World Cup from 11 June to 19 July. The former Clermont defender is likely to be involved, although Carlos Queiroz has not yet named his squad.

At the tournament, the Black Stars are in Group L with Panama, England and Croatia.
