Switzerland international Alisha Lehmann could be set for a Women’s Super League return with Leicester City.
The 26-year-old could be set to leave Como after just five months with the Italian outfit.
Alisha Lehmann was left out of the squad during Como’s goalless draw with Napoli on Saturday, heightening speculation she could be on her way to Leicester City.
The BBC have reported that Leicester are in advanced talks and hope to bring her in on a permanent deal.
However, they have also discussed the potential of a loan move for the Swiss international.
Lehmann has made just three league starts for Como since her summer move from Juventus.
The forward saw her home in Italy burgled back in November, after she previously suffered a break-in during her time in Turin.
Given her lack of minutes at Como, a move to Leicester appears likely.
Lehmann would bring a lot of exposure to Leicester City, both on and off the pitch.
She is one of the most famous players in women’s football, as shown by the fact that she is the most followed player in women’s football.
Lehmann has over 16 million followers on the social media platform Instagram.
On the pitch, she will also bring plenty of experience to a Leicester City side that has already targeted players with WSL experience during the January transfer window.
Ashleigh Neville joined from Tottenham, Rachel Williams arrived from Manchester United while Sarah Mayling joined on loan from Aston Villa.

Lehmann played for West Ham, Everton and Aston Villa during her career in the WSL.
She scored 12 goals in 53 appearances for West Ham between 2018 and 2021, helping the Hammers reach the final of the FA Cup in 2019.
Lehmann spent the second half of the 2021-22 season on loan at Everton, before joining Aston Villa at the end of that campaign.
She scored 14 goals in 75 appearances for Aston Villa before leaving for Juventus in the summer of 2024.
During her time at Aston Villa, she started a relationship with men’s player Douglas Luiz, who also left for Juventus that same summer.
The pair split up during their time at Juventus, and Luiz now plays for Nottingham Forest.
Leicester City will hope to sign Lehmann in time for their next WSL match.
The Foxes, who are ninth in the standings, will be aiming for three points when they host struggling West Ham on Sunday.
They won’t be in the hat for the FA Cup fifth round draw, after their 3-0 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday.
