HOW DOES FLAMENGO COME INTO THE MATCH?

Flamengo head into the friendly on a high. Last week, in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, the red-and-black team, coached by Bernardinho, won their first two matches of the season.

The first positive result came against Fluminense, by 3 sets to 1. The second was against Dentil Praia Clube, in a tie-break. With those wins, Flamengo claimed the SuperVôlei Cup, their first title of the 2026/2027 season.

SQUAD MOTIVATION

“During the week, we gave our all to adjust a few aspects. We still have many things to work on, such as serving and the relationship between blocking and defense. But there’s nothing better than facing a great opponent like Praia to understand what stage we’re at. I love getting to know Brazil, and it will be special to feel the support of the fans from Rio Grande do Sul,” said middle blocker Lorena.

MAJOR ABSENCE

For this Saturday’s clash (03), Sesc RJ Flamengo will have two absences. While Serbian middle blocker Minja Osmajić is recovering from a fracture to the third finger of her right hand, outside hitter Karina is undergoing rehabilitation after fracturing her right ankle.
