Palmeiras are advancing the sale of Allan to an English club and plan to replace him from within, according to Globo.com. The candidates are Jhon Arias, Felipe Anderson, Giay, Khellven and Mauricio.

Felipe Anderson has already filled the role, starting on the right in the 3-2 Copa do Brasil loss to Fortaleza and assisting Flaco López.

He impressed again in Sunday’s 4-1 win over Vasco. Post-match, Mauricio praised the squad and flagged Felipe Anderson as a strong option.

Mauricio added that his own style differs from Allan’s, focusing more on space than one-v-one duels, and said he would be happy for Allan if the move is confirmed. Abel Ferreira has underlined Allan’s two-way work and said suitors must pay heavily.

Beyond Felipe Anderson, Giay and Khellven, both right-backs, could feature as a right wing-back. Giay is more defensive and has also covered at centre-back. Khellven is more attacking but has had fitness issues and appeared in 30 of 48 games, 20 as a starter.

Jhon Arias is another option, comfortable on the right and strong defensively, ranking among the higher tacklers in the Campeonato Brasileiro. With talks progressing, Manchester City have offered €40 million, split into €37.5 million fixed and €2.5 million in bonuses. Allan may have made his final outing on Sunday, playing around 70 minutes and supplying his sixth assist of 2026, alongside six goals in 42 matches.
