According to Nosso Palestra, Manchester City have reached a verbal agreement with Palmeiras to sign Allan, and are finalising details to formalise the deal. City had been seeking a replacement after agreeing Savinho’s move to Tottenham.

The deal is for around 37.5 million euros guaranteed, plus 2.5 million euros in add-ons.

Palmeiras had been reluctant to sell but accepted negotiations as the proposal balanced fee and payment terms. With talks advanced, Allan is not expected to play for Palmeiras again.

Aston Villa made an enquiry in recent weeks, indicating a 30 million euros package, 25 million fixed and the rest in bonuses.

Focused on the 2026 titles, Palmeiras have only contemplated selling key players in the event of an offer considered irresistible by all parties.
