Almirante Brown sign Ferraina on loan from Boca, ex-Inter Miami

Almirante Brown has confirmed the signing of Giovanni Ferraina, a 22-year-old defender on loan from Boca, who will play the upcoming season with La Fragata in search of first-team experience. Ferraina, who has a contract with Boca until December 2026, returns after two seasons at Inter Miami II, where he played 41 matches, provided two assists, and became captain of the American franchise's second team.

Despite his performances in MLS Next Pro and training with the first team, Ferraina did not make his debut under Javier Mascherano’s management, and the American club decided not to exercise the purchase option. Back at Boca, he trained with the players not considered by Claudio Úbeda, and when the opportunity at Almirante Brown arose, he decided to accept the loan to gain continuity in the top division.
