Sereias da Vila visit Vitória on Saturday 22 August at 18:00 at the Barradão in the 17th and final round of the Brasileiro Feminino A-1. The match will be shown on UOL.

According to Diario Do Peixe, Santos are already out of the knockout race. Vitória could yet save themselves from relegation with a win, sitting second-bottom on seven points, with Botafogo last on five and América-MG also on seven.

Marcelo Frigerio's side have 20 points and sit 12th. Their campaign reads five wins, five draws and six defeats, with 20 scored and 22 conceded.

The 18-team competition is a single round robin. After 17 rounds, the top eight advance to the quarter-finals and two clubs go down. Knockout ties are played home and away.

The provisional dates are 30 August and 6 September for the quarter-finals, 13 and 20 September for the semi-finals, and 27 September and 4 October for the final.

Each club receives a fixed R$ 720,000 in the first phase, plus R$ 20,000 for each first-choice nationally televised match. Prize money is R$ two million for the champions and R$ one million for the runners-up.
