Amaiur Sarriegi is a new Juventus Women forward. The Spanish player has signed a contract through 30 June, 2029, and shared her first thoughts on joining the Bianconere.

ARRIVING IN TURIN

“I’m really happy to be here and very excited. Juventus is a huge Club: from the moment I arrived, I immediately understood the stature of this club. It’s a source of enormous pride for me.”

THE GOAL A YEAR AGO

“I remember the match against Juve in the Women’s Champions League a year ago very well. They struck me as a strong, top-level team. Then, as fate would have it – or perhaps not – I managed to score in that game, and now I find myself here, ready to wear this shirt.”

A NEW CHALLENGE IN ITALY

“This is my first experience outside Spain. I want to get to know Italian football up close and test myself in Serie A. I see this as an important opportunity to grow. We’ll approach the season with great determination, with the aim of doing well in every competition.”

HER QUALITIES ON THE PITCH

“I’d describe myself as a forward who always has goals on her mind. I’m constantly looking for opportunities to shoot, create chances and have an effort on goal. At the same time, I like linking up with my teammates. I see football as a team game, so I’m always looking to combine with the players around me and help us play attractive, effective football. I love being on the ball and getting involved in our build-up play.”

EXPERIENCE AND MENTALITY

“Even though I’m still young, I’ve already gained a lot of experience, including at international level, having played in different environments. All of that has helped me a lot. Through humility and hard work every day, I want to bring my experience and all the passion I have for this sport to help the team as much as I possibly can.”
