According to Americayya.net, América Femenil are enjoying a historic 2026, having swept the Clausura 2026, the Concacaf W Champions Cup and the Campeón de Campeonas. Their Apertura 2026 start has been near perfect, four wins out of four, all by heavy margins and with a torrent of goals.

They opened away at Santos with a laboured display yet still won 3-0, courtesy of Alexa Soto, Gabriela García and Geyse Ferreira. It set the tone.

Next came a 10-0 demolition of Cruz Azul, the third biggest win in their history after 12-1 against Morelia and 11-0 versus Querétaro. The scorers were Montse Saldivar, Geyse Ferreira and Priscila da Silva with two each, plus Gabriela García, Scarlett Camberos, Kim Rodríguez and Irene Guerrero.

Their first run-out at the remodelled Cancha Centenario Coapa brought a 5-1 victory over Puebla, the only match in which they have conceded and one they initially trailed. Montse Saldivar, Priscila da Silva with two, Alexa Soto and Geyse Ferreira completed the turnaround.

Most recently they routed Necaxa 7-0 away, with Geyse Ferreira hitting four and further goals from Irene Guerrero, Aylin Aviléz and Jana Guitérrez. That made it four straight routs and 24 goals in four matches.

Who can stop them? Next up are Tijuana, who have started with one win and two defeats, so another big win would not be a surprise, then a visit to Pumas, perhaps a trickier rival, before Tigres come to town.
