With the Apertura 2026 regular stage nearing its midpoint, América have finalised their squad to contest the title. According to Americayya.net, the window shut with three late arrivals, Carlos Álvarez, Santiago Mingo and Santiago Bueno.
In goal, four keepers are registered, Luis Malagón, Fernando Tapia, Rodolfo Cota and César Lugo.
Defence shows three additions compared to last term. The registered defenders are Emilio Lara, Israel Reyes, Kevin Álvarez, Santiago Bueno, Santiago Mingo, Franco Rossano, Cristian Borja, Ramón Juárez and Miguel Vázquez.
Midfield saw minimal change with the sole signing of Edwin Cerrillo. Liga MX mistakenly listed Oscar Perea in this area instead of Carlos Álvarez, who appears among the forwards. The registered midfielders are Edwin Cerrillo, Alejandro Zendejas, Isaías Violante, Alan Cervantes, Alexis Gutiérrez, Raphael Veiga, Erick Sánchez and Dagoberto Espinosa.
Up front, the headline addition is Miguel Borja, with Carlos Álvarez also included. The forwards registered are Brian Rodríguez, Carlos Álvarez, Henry Martín and Miguel Borja.
Despite being marked as released, Brazilian-born midfielder Ícaro da Conceicao can still feature for the first team via an Under-21 registration.
