Coventry City are looking to strengthen at left-back, with FC Porto’s Francisco Moura among the most popular names under consideration.
The Sky Blues enjoyed an impressive campaign under Frank Lampard in the Championship, sealing the title with 95 points and ending their 25-year wait for top-flight football.
Last season, Leeds United and Sunderland broke the recent stereotype of promoted teams returning to the second tier by staying up comfortably.

However, Lampard’s side will need to get their recruitment spot on in the upcoming summer window if they are to follow suit.
Last season, former Arsenal winger Adrian Clarke issued a ‘skinny’ squad warning to Coventry, which needs addressing ahead of the new term.

Lampard’s side have not done much in terms of transfer business so far, but will look to accelerate their pursuit in the coming weeks.
They have been widely linked with Juventus striker Lois Openda, who is also being tracked by Leeds United.
Now they are keen on adding a left-back to strengthen that position and have set their eyes on the Portuguese top flight.
According to Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari, the newly promoted Premier League side are keen on Porto’s 26-year-old left-back Moura, who is ‘among the most appreciated names’.

The Braga-born Portuguese defender has never played outside Portugal, having had spells with Braga and Famalicao before joining Porto.
The Primeira Liga giants signed him two years ago on a five-year deal and he has gone on to make 74 appearances for the club, including 21 in their title-winning campaign last season.
The former Portugal youth international has contributed to 21 goals directly so far for the Dragoes and is known for his explosive style of full-back play.
Moura’s deal runs for three more years at Porto, where he is not a guaranteed starter, and he could expect more minutes should he join Coventry.
Whether Lampard’s side will make a concrete move for the left-footed left-back in the upcoming window remains to be seen.
