Carlo Ancelotti has called up Cruzeiro’s Kaiki Bruno to replace Alex Sandro for Brazil’s friendlies with France and Croatia.

The Flamengo left-back was injured during Sunday 22’s 1-1 draw with Corinthians, leaving at half-time for Ayrton Lucas. According to Coluna Do Fla, post-match MRI scans showed a muscle injury to the back of his right thigh.

Kaiki, 23, has represented Brazil at under-20 level.

Ancelotti also has Douglas Santos of Zenit as a left-back option, and he is expected to start during this international window.

Brazil face France on Thursday 26, then play Croatia on Tuesday 31. These are their final friendlies before the announcement of the 2026 World Cup squad.
