Flamengo under-20 goalkeeper Léo Nannetti has been called up again to train with Brazil, joining Carlo Ancelotti’s set-up before the World Cup. His programme has been set for the upcoming camp.
According to Coluna Do Fla, he remains available for Flamengo first, with a Brasileirão under-20 match against Santos on Thursday 21 at Estádio Luso Brasileiro, kick-off 21:30 Brasília time.
Nannetti is due to report to Granja Comary on Wednesday 27 alongside the other call-ups. At the national team’s training centre he will work with Taffarel and take part in all scheduled sessions.
The CBF has determined he will then travel with the squad to the United States. He will not feature in the friendlies against Panama and Egypt, as he is not on Brazil’s final World Cup list.
This is not his first stint under Ancelotti with Brazil. He was included in the previous camp to train with the selected goalkeepers, and Taffarel has previously praised the Flamengo youngster.
