According to Meu Timao, businessman André Cury has again pressed the court overseeing Corinthians’ RCE, challenging the club’s payment proofs and urging tighter oversight.
On Friday he filed a 12-page petition in São Paulo’s court for bankruptcies and judicial recoveries, where the RCE has run since late 2024 to tackle about R$ 190 million in debt.
He says Corinthians presented receipts for the first three instalments, from February to April, totalling R$ 8,809,502.00, without identifying beneficiaries, failed to attach court ordered contracts, and kept in the payout list a credit allegedly annulled by judgment.
Cury argues the papers do not show who was paid, the originating case, certified values or the judicial basis for each sum. He also questions boletos to Banco do Brasil, records for revenues booked as advances and financial operations, and says the club tried to bypass orders with unilateral spreadsheets and restricted access via Laspro. He also alleges payments tied to Giuliano Bertolucci persisted despite the related execution being nullified.
He asks the court for a full reconciliation naming each creditor, case, admitted value, amount paid, method, proof and remaining balance, plus boleto by boleto details for Banco do Brasil. He also seeks the filing of contracts with Nike, Banco Daycoval, Esportes da Sorte and FIDC Gama V3, explanations for credits tied to null cases, the disallowance of unproven payments, and consideration of an observer or judicial intervenor. The court had already raised possible intervention in March after a dispute over February revenues.
