André underlined his progress in Corinthians’ 3-0 win over Remo, teeing up the opener and reinforcing his status among the league’s standout young players.

According to R10 Score, the 20-year-old leads the under-20 ranks in Brasileirão 2026 with three goals and four goal involvements.

His first league goal came on 1 April in a 3-1 defeat at Fluminense at the Maracanã. Nearly two months later he struck twice against Grêmio in a 3-1 away win, the team’s final game before the World Cup pause. His assist on Thursday was his first for the senior side.

He scored twice last season, against Mirassol and Fortaleza in the league. In 2026 he has five goals in all competitions, including one against Ponte Preta in the Paulista opener.

Corinthians had a sale to Milan worth about 15 million euros lined up earlier this year, but it did not go through. The club now expects interest from Juventus, who could offer 18 million euros.

While his future remains uncertain, André is available to head coach Fernando Diniz. Corinthians visit Bahia at Arena Fonte Nova on Sunday at 16:00.
