The Portuguese federation’s Disciplinary Council has revoked a fine imposed on FC Porto winger André Miranda following a club appeal, the council said in a ruling.
The sanction had been issued over alleged celebrations with team-mates on the pitch at Braga’s stadium.
It was a misunderstanding, as Miranda was not even selected for the fixture and was injured at the time.
Team-mate Tiago Silva was present, having been called up by Farioli for the match, although he did not appear on the teamsheet.
In its Professional Section decision, the council upheld FC Porto’s improper hierarchical appeal and annulled the disciplinary ruling that had fined André Alexandre Mendes Miranda €306.
