Manchester United were forced to send Andre Onana out on loan following his horrific displays for the club.
He was full of mistakes in his debut season under Erik ten Hag, but the general feeling was he needed time to adapt to his new surroundings.
But his form hit a new nadir under Ruben Amorim, with the Cameroonian culpable for huge errors in the Europa League and Premier League.
But the head coach still wanted to give him one more season, but his shocking display in the Carabao Cup against Grimsby Town meant there was no alternative and INEOS were forced to dip into the market.
The ex-Inter Milan ace joined Trabzonspor in Turkey, where he has enjoyed a decent loan spell up till now, with three clean sheets in eight starts.
The Turkish side are contemplating converting the temporary stint into a permanent one, but as per i paper, Andre Onana has still not given up on his dreams of making it at Old Trafford.
He wants to prove his critics wrong and wants to compete with Senne Lammens for the No.1 jersey. Interestingly, the report also notes that if such a scenario is not possible, he would live to move to another Premier League side.

There is also interest from France, where Monaco were keen in the summer, as well as Turkey and clubs in the Saudi Pro League.
“Andre Onana is not giving up hope of resurrecting his Manchester United career when he returns from his loan spell in Turkey and is open to moving to another Premier League club in order to keep his English dream alive.
“The Turkish club are understood to be keen on prolonging Onana’s time there after being impressed with him since his summer arrival.
“The i Paper has been told, however, that the Cameroon international still has aspirations of regaining the No 1 shirt at Old Trafford upon completion of his temporary exile.
“Sources close to Onana are also not ruling out trying to engineer a move to another Premier League club, should deposing Senne Lammens in the United goal not be deemed possible.
“There is understood to still be interest from France, Turkey and clubs in Saudi Arabia. United are keen to continue to lower their wage bill with further player sales next summer.”
There should be no way back for Andre Onana given his high-profile errors in the past. Even if he chooses to join a direct rival, INEOS should just let him leave provided their valuation is met.
Radek Vitek can be more than an adequate backup for Senne Lammens given his impressive form out on loan for the last couple of seasons.
