The club said in a statement that midfielder André has been diagnosed with a right posterior thigh injury and will miss Corinthians’ match at Red Bull Bragantino on Sunday.

He sat out training at CT Joaquim Grava before the 22nd round fixture in the Campeonato Brasileiro at Estádio Cícero de Souza Marques in Bragança Paulista (SP).

Imaging confirmed a contusion. No grade or recovery timeline was disclosed.

The treatment room remains busy. Yuri Alberto has a right posterior thigh issue, while Zakaria Labyad has a meniscus injury and a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

Vitinho is recovering from left knee meniscus surgery, and Kayke is rehabilitating after left knee ACL surgery.

Memphis Depay is also unavailable as he has yet to sign a new contract, and Alex Santana is in physical transition.

Meanwhile, left-back Hugo is available again after six months, following surgery in February on a lateral meniscus injury in his right knee.
