Andreas Schjelderup has set his sights on the eight March Clássico against eternal rivals Porto after scoring for Benfica at Gil Vicente.
According to Glorioso 1904, the winger posted on Instagram the next day, signalling his focus on the fixture.
He shared images from Barcelos, where he and António Silva supplied the goals in Benfica’s victory.
On current form he could earn an enhanced role at Benfica, with recent contributions proving decisive, starting with a brace against Real Madrid that helped the team reach the Champions League play-off.
The Norway international was close to leaving in the winter window due to limited minutes, but under José Mourinho he has revived his Benfica career and been more efficient than last season, when he scored five.
This season Schjelderup, valued at 14 million euros, has made 33 official appearances for Benfica, 18 in Liga Portugal Betclic, 10 in the Champions League, four in the Taça de Portugal and one in the Taça da Liga, totalling 1,763 minutes with six goals and three assists.
