Club América star Andrés Ibargüen has complained about how they are always being scrutinised by the media, as they are the biggest and most popular club in Mexico.
Despite losing just once this season, the Colombian believes that they are being given a bad reputation despite being just two points behind first-placed Santos Laguna.
“Many in the media have refused to mention that America has only lost one game in the season, while other teams have two or three losses, and we are at the top of the eight.
“There are times that they seem to want to destabilise the team. But, we want to make the fan feel that we are well.”
Of course, Club América will face rivals Cruz Azul in the Clásico Joven this weekend.
