Football League World takes a look at three clubs who should swoop to sign Andy Cook on a free transfer this summer, if he leaves Bradford City
Andy Cook's Bradford City contract is set to expire this summer, and the striker is currently on loan with Grimsby Town in League Two.
Cook scored 12 goals in 22 fourth-tier games last season to help fire the Bantams to promotion to League One.
The West Yorkshire club now appear set to finish in a third-tier play-off spot, having enjoyed a largely successful campaign, but the 35-year-old has been deemed surplus to requirements by Graham Alexander.
Cook has proven his goalscoring credentials in League Two once again, most recently notching for Grimsby in their 5-0 triumph over Barrow on 21 March.
Football League World has taken a look at three clubs who should be interested in signing the former Mansfield Town man on a free transfer this summer if he doesn't sign a new contract with Bradford.

Grimsby have caught the eye with their cup exploits this season, as they famously knocked Manchester United, then managed by Ruben Amorim, out of the EFL Cup back in August.
The Mariners have also been faring well in League Two, and are hoping to beat the likes of Chesterfield, Oldham Athletic, Crewe Alexandra, and Walsall to a play-off spot.
Cook has produced a reasonable return of four goals in 14 fourth-tier appearances since joining David Artell's men on loan from Bradford, and they could be convinced to acquire his permanent signature this summer.
The veteran would be a particularly good addition if the Mariners miss out on relegation, thanks to his strong League Two record, while he also has League One experience.

As previously mentioned, Chesterfield are in the League Two play-off battle alongside Grimsby this term.
The Spireites have enjoyed an impressive rise under Paul Cook in recent seasons, winning the National League title in 2024 before landing a fourth-tier play-off spot last campaign.
Promotion is the goal for Chesterfield once again, but the previously reliable goalscorer Will Grigg has let his standards drop this season, which leaves the Derbyshire club in need of finding a new frontman this summer.
Bradford's Cook could be the answer, and the Spireites would love to see him emulate the 2022/23 season in which he scored 28 League Two goals for the Bantams.

Oldham are vying to follow in the recent footsteps of the likes of Wrexham and Stockport County, who both won promotion from League Two to League One shortly after returning to the EFL.
The Greater Manchester club's impressive form in recent weeks has given them every chance of beating the likes of Grimsby to a play-off spot.
However, forwards such as Mike Fondop and Kane Drummond haven't been as prolific as they would have liked this term.
Therefore, Oldham could turn to the services of Cook, who may give them a stronger chance of landing a long-awaited League One return next season.
The man currently on loan with the Mariners was previously managed by Latics boss Micky Mellon at Tranmere Rovers, while a move to Boundary Park could prove practical as the Greater Manchester town is relatively close to Bradford.
