Andy Robertson will leave Liverpool at the end of the season after deciding not to extend his contract, the club said in a statement on Thursday.
His deal runs until June and will not be renewed. He joined from Hull in 2017 and has made 373 appearances across nine years.
In that time he won the Champions League in 2019 and Premier League titles in 2020 and 2025. His honours also include the UEFA Super Cup in 2019, the FA Cup in 2022, the League Cup in 2022 and 2024, the Club World Cup in 2019 and the Community Shield in 2022.
Since the arrival of the young Hungarian Milos Kerkez last summer, Robertson has increasingly been used as back-up at left-back.
The 32-year-old left-back called leaving Liverpool difficult, described the club as central to his and his family’s lives over the past nine years, and felt this is the right moment to move on. He has given his heart and soul to the club, wants to make people proud when selected, and will give everything until his final day.
