Angers striker Loïs Diony ruptured cruciate knee ligaments in training at the end of last week and could miss the rest of the 2022-23 season.

Bad news for Loïs Diony and Angers SCO. It was announced on Tuesday that the striker, who was injured in training last Friday, has ruptured his cruciate ligaments. The 29-year-old striker, who has scored two goals in eight Ligue 1 Uber Eats games this season, had made a decent start to the season under Gerald Baticle. Following this injury, the former ASSE player will miss several months of competition and could be absent until the end of the season.
