AS Monaco teenager Anis Soubeir has suffered an ankle sprain and will miss the Lens game. According to Nice-Matin, a return is hoped after the upcoming international break.
The 19-year-old started for the first time this season in the 1-1 draw at Strasbourg in Ligue 1 matchday four, but was forced off after 22 minutes.
His right ankle twisted following a control in the box during a duel, and he was replaced by Matthis Abline.
After returning from Strasbourg he underwent tests, which confirmed the sprain.
He will sit out the visit of Lens on Friday 18 September at Louis-II, with his return hoped for after the break from 21 September to six October.
Soubeir was integrated into the first-team squad during pre-season by Filipe Luis.
