Another Barcelona youngster’s future is ‘up in the air’ ahead of next season | OneFootball

The future of a highly-regarded member of the reserve ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has seen his future thrown into serious doubt with a view to next season.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Alan Godoy as the player in question.

Frontman Godoy for his part only made the move to Catalunya’s capital this past January, after Barcelona beat out stiff competition to bring the 22-year-old in from Eldense.

Just six months on, though, the attacker could be on the move once more.

Barca Atlètic’s shock relegation to the 4th tier of Spanish football has seen the futures of a whole host of up-and-coming talents called into question.

And Godoy is no exception, amid confirmation on the part of Sport that:

‘The list of offers to return to the Second Division is not short, so right now his future is up in the air.’

Godoy is expected to provide those behind the scenes in Barcelona with a definitive answer regarding his future in short order.
