Noah Ajayi is one of the biggest talents to emerge from the Carrington pipeline, with the 17-year-old able to play out wide as well as up top if needed.

Last season, he netted nine times across all competitions and he was earmarked to be a part of Michael Carrick‘s pre-season squad.

However, an injury put paid to those hopes, but the Germany Under-19 international is now back and impressing coaches at Carrington.

Noah Ajayi attracting interest from Germany

There is interest from multiple Bundesliga clubs in the Hamburg-born starlet, but the Red Devils have devised a plan to keep a hold of him.

According to The Daily Mail, he has been promised the chance to train with the senior team this season, and hopefully, he can impress when called upon.

“Noah Ajayi continues to be closely tracked by teams in his homeland of Germany, has started the season with a bang for United’s Under 18s and Under 19s.

“Ajayi was a consideration for the first team’s pre-season tour of Europe, but was sidelined for most of the summer through injury.

United’s plan to keep hold of wonderkid

“Now fit and back in form, the youngster looks a real threat and is set to play a role across the Under 18s, Under 19s and Under 21s as the season progresses.

“At his current trajectory, he should be involved in first-team training sessions in the coming months – not least because his size and physicality gives him an advantage over other young players.”

This season, he already has a goal to his name from only 48 minutes of action, which goes to show his effectiveness.

Whether United’s plan will be enough to keep Noah Ajayi, only time will tell.
