Juventus have joined Napoli in the chase for Morocco striker Youssef En-Nesyri after his AFCON return and growing Serie A interest.

Why En-Nesyri Is Back on the Market?

Italian giants Juventus have entered the competition to sign Youssef En Nesyri,, the Morocco international currently at Fenerbahce during the ongoing winter transfer window.

The development follows Napoli’s stalled talks to land Jean-Philippe Mateta from Crystal Palace. According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus have aligned with Napoli in monitoring En-Nesyri’s situation while both clubs evaluate short term solutions up front.

The 28 year-old striker recently returned from the Africa Cup of Nations which recently concluded in Morocco and is now open to listening to offers.

En-Nesyri remains under contract with Fenerbahce until summer 2029 having joined from Sevilla in July 2024 for €20 million. Despite that long-term deal, reports suggest the Turkish club could consider loan move as the striker is no longer viewed as untouchable.

Both Juventus and Napoli are believed to be studying temporary deal. However reports indicate that regular playing time will be the decisive factor in any decision.
