Barcelona have been rocked by the news of Pedro Fernandez Dro’s departure this week, with the youngster set to leave the club imminently.
As one of the most highly-rated players in the academy, Dro’s decision to leave the club haven’t gone down well with the coaching staff, including Hansi Flick.
PSG have emerged as the frontrunners in the race to sign Dro, who is expected to make the move imminently.
But Dro won’t be the only La Masia star leaving Barcelona this month, as Mamadou Mbacke has also emerged as a surprising candidate for a departure.
According to Diario SPORT, Mbacke’s move away from Barcelona is imminent as the player has missed Barça Atletic’s most recent game.
He was indeed not included in Juliano Belletti’s squad for the game against CE Andratx. It is, therefore, only a matter of time before he leaves the club.

This comes after recent reports that linked Mbaye with a move away from Barcelona, especially amid offers from other clubs.
The report adds that Mbacke is likely to move to the MLS, which doesn’t come as a major shock, as Barça had initially signed him from LA Galaxy. The youngster joined Barça for a fee of around €2 million.
It appears Mbacke enjoys a good reputation in the MLS circle and for the player, it has emerged as the most viable option despite receiving offers from second division Spanish and Italian clubs.
Mbacke’s departure comes at a time when the defender was finally starting to get some regular action, having struggled with injuries in recent seasons.
