Antiviolence body proposes year-long bans and €5,000 fines for six CD Castellón ultras | OneFootball

Spain's Antiviolence Commission has proposed 12-month bans from all sporting venues and €5,000 fines for each of six CD Castellón supporters, after incidents following June's promotion play-off second leg at UD Almería.

The proposal concerns disorder outside the stadium after full-time, with six fans identified for assaulting and intimidating several home supporters, according to an agreement published by the Consejo Superior de Deportes.

A police investigation followed under the banner Operation Kastali. In July, six people were arrested in Castellón province and linked to the Frente Orellut group in relation to the attack on an Almería fan.

After the match, an Almería supporter was surrounded, threatened and assaulted in a nearby establishment. The victim escaped towards the ground, where officers provided assistance, and suspects were later identified.

After appearing in court, the six were placed under precautionary stadium exclusion orders for fixtures involving CD Castellón. The club also cancelled the season tickets of those implicated and reiterated its rejection of any violence.
