Antonín Kinsky has signed an improved contract at Tottenham after a turbulent but ultimately encouraging breakthrough season in north London.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper endured a difficult night in March’s Champions League defeat to Atletico Madrid, where he made two early errors before being substituted inside 17 minutes of a 5-2 loss, a moment that threatened to stall his progress.
Signed from Slavia Prague for around £12.5m in January 2025, Kinsky initially struggled to settle in the Premier League environment. However, his fortunes changed under new head coach Roberto De Zerbi, who handed him a run in the side during the closing stages of the campaign.
The Czech international went on to start Tottenham’s final seven league matches, playing a key role as Spurs secured their top-flight status. His performances included a composed display in a draw against Leeds and a clean sheet on the final day against Everton.
