Former Sevilla left-back Antonio Luna has retired from professional football at 35, marking it with a playful social media farewell.

The player said in a post that he felt profoundly grateful and thanked key mentors from his Sevilla years.

He opened by riffing on Fabrizio Romano’s catchphrase, then blended humour with thanks. Mariano Pulido was credited with moving him to left-back, a switch he felt changed his path.
