Under fire after a disappointing start to the 2025 Arab Cup, Sami Trabelsi did not mince his words when addressing a journalist following the match against Palestine.

Tunisia lost their opening match to Syria (0-1) before settling for a draw with Palestine (2-2), leaving them at the bottom of Group A.

Asked about this setback and whether it should weaken his position at the helm of the Tunisian national team, Sami Trabelsi held nothing back.

Clearly irritated by a journalist's question in Qatar, the Carthage Eagles coach fired back: "If you want me to leave now, fine, I'll do it. If that makes you happy, I'll step down," he initially retorted.

Tunisia now must beat Qatar in their third group match and hope the Syria-Palestine game doesn't end in a draw if they're to book a spot in the quarter-finals.
