Fulham boss Alvaro Arbeloa has confirmed Tom Cairney is the only player unavailable for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

The Cottagers have strengthened their squad with the additions of Hugo Larsson, Manuel Angel and David Affengruber, but Arbeloa does not expect any of the trio to be ready to start at Craven Cottage, though they could be in the squad.

“The players are all ready except Tom Cairney,” he said.

“Be patient with these three (new) players. They need to understand what we want from them.

“I don’t think the new players are ready to start yet.”

Arbeloa also welcomed the presence of Kenny Tete after the right-back’s proposed move to Everton fell through.

“He’s very happy to be here in another season,” Arbeloa said.

“He has experience, he knows perfectly the club primarily and of course he will be another player who has been doing so great during the first season.

“So yeah, we’re happy with him.”
